About My Paintings

Taking simple and geometric shapes ( Suprematism ) creates a two-dimensional intimacy ( flat art ) with other abstract, organic, spontaneous, and improvised shapes ( Dadaism ).
These colourful shapes have closed outlines and live together inside an unlimited pictorial space. The shapes do not intersect themselves and therefore have modular, graphic, and symbolic aspects.
This non-objective art (lack of theme) has merely the intention to interact with shape and colour abstractly as autonomous art.The importance of the empty and immense white background, in association with sublime sensations, are stressed.
This organo-geometric duality (the existence of rule in geometric shapes and the lack of rule in improvised shapes) reflects the everyday different behaviours one can expect in life in conjunction with a more symbolic, sublime or spiritual dimension.
